In order to experience Spanish life first-hand, our students live with Spanish families. Host families are carefully selected and evaluated to ensure the complete immersion of each student within the Spanish language, culture, and social environment. Universitas Castellae will provide the student with information on his/her host family before arrival in Valladolid. Every effort is made to meet the needs and expectations of our students, who are then expected to be courteous and respectful with their host families. For exceptional cases, we are able to accommodate students interested in apartment rooms or residence dorms. Students interested in such accommodations must consult with the Universitas Castellae staff as early as possible. We promote stays with host families as the preferred option based on years of experience with students whose language skills and social integration were aided immeasurably by their host families.
