This program is directing the students’ acquisition of linguistic abilities in the least amount of time. In order to achieve this, diverse cultural strategies work with the language in communicative and interactive ways, as the students are in direct contact with society, the city and its people: practical grammar, conversation inside and outside the classroom, and cultural content that is always directed at proficiency in Spanish. The curriculum’s base is established through the four traditional levels according to the Cervantes Institute’s design, the program by which we are accredited. The levels are divided in the following way: Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, Advanced 1, Advanced 2, Superior 1, and Superior 2. All of the materials used in the classroom are submitted by the professors of Universitas Castellae. We have our own methods and in our collections “Español Lengua Extranjera: and “Cultura Iberoamericana” we have books produced by our own teaching staff.
